Toure reported to be unhappy at Arsenal

10:12am Tuesday 20th May 2008

KOLO TOURE will demand emergency talks with Arsene Wenger after becoming disillusioned with his role at the club, according to reports in The Sun.

Toure is understood to be annoyed at the preferential treatment Wenger shows defensive partner William Gallas.

The Ivory Coast international was pushed out to right-back following the injury to Bacary Sagna towards the end of the season, while he was also overlooked for the captaincy - a position Gallas inherited from Thierry Henry after just one season at the Emirates.

Toure, whose yearly earnings of £2.6million also pale in significance to that of Gallas (£4million), wants to clarify his position at the club and could even demand a transfer if the clear-the-air talks are not successful.
